The 1999 “La Marie” chair, designed by Philippe Starck, represents the starting point of the path taken by Kartell on the theme of transparent furniture. In 2002 Kartell presented its new transparent chair, again by Starck, it is called “Louis Ghost” and is destined to become an icon.
