In 2009, Phara, parallel to the theme of football, takes up some themes that he had already dealt with in the nineties, combining them with symbols from popular culture. In this work, the usual onion is transformed into a greasy tree from which geometric gnomes hang . In the same period he returns to the use of the canvas experimenting with new painting techniques.
