Giulio Pippi de 'Jannuzzi, or Giannuzzi, known as Giulio Romano, was an Italian architect and painter, an important and versatile personality of the Renaissance and Mannerism. He was a complete artist as was normal for a court artist who had to deal with every aspect related to the residence and representative life of his lord, also having to provide graphic models for tapestries, sculptures and silver objects, coordinating collaborators and craftsmen.
