The instrument is composed of a column scale with equal arms in a display case, with a lifting front door, a yoke with adjustment screws for balancing the scale and the center of gravity and a column with a lifting system of the yoke with articulated arms and stop of the plates operated with external knob.
At the top of the column is a level bubble and a bone scale. At the lower end of the index is present. under the needle, a rectangular frame with a scale for projection reading. Bracket suspensions with adjustment screws for parallelism and coplanarity of the knives. Double hook for suspension of air damper bells and cymbals. Outside the display case, on the right side, a double coaxial knob mechanism for loading the smaller masses.
