Achille Funi

26 February 1890, Ferrara - 1972, Appiano Gentile

Achille Virgilio Socrate Funi was an Italian painter, among the initiators of the twentieth century artistic movement in 1922 in Milan. He was also a sculptor, architect, illustrator, set designer and graphic designer. In the 1930s he theorized and practiced the return to mural painting.
