The Stedelijk Museum Almelo tells in different themed rooms and based on objects, clothes, paintings, photos and videos how the city of Almelo developed and what it was like to live here in the past.

The museum is divided into thematic rooms with the respective titles Water, Charges and Pleasures, Power and prestige, Country life, Almelo industrial city and Always something to do e. The Stedelijk Museum Almelo also offers an exhibition hall for exhibitions.
