Haworth Art Gallery is located in Accrington. The building is considered to be the finest house with a garden in the entire Lancashire province. The building was designed by the architect Walter Brierley, known for his refined taste and his attention to materials and was completed in 1909. Its construction was commissioned by William Haworth himself from whom the museum, inaugurated in 1921, takes its first name. The Haworth Art Gallery   is known for hosting the largest and most extensive collection of Tiffany Glass outside the United States. The Tiffany glassware is in fact one of the greatest expressions of the Arts & Crafts movement with its glass vases, tiles and mosaics inspired by American Art Nouveau. The collection is on permanent display. Since 2016, the Haworth Art Gallery has also been providing art and craft studios for local artists working in the creative industries. It currently offers a full program of performing arts and arts and crafts workshops for adults and children.
