The Museum Villa Bassi is located in the town of Abano Terme and is located inside the Villa Bassi. The complex of Villa Bassi Rathgeb (formerly Dry, Dondi dall'Orologio and Zasio) is fully part in the type of "Venetian villa", the place of performance of agriculture related, according to the classical ideal, to a healthy lifestyle , virtuous and active pastimes for the owners. The collection Bassi Rathgeb was acquired by the city of Abano Terme at two different times. The first donation, in 1972, includes about fifty paintings, drawings and engravings that are part of a period of time ranging from the fifteenth to the twentieth century, with the Renaissance masters names of great importance, as John Cariani, Moretto da Brescia and Palma Young and the painters of the Veneto and Lombardy seventeenth century. The second, in 1980, has four pieces, including paintings, drawings, engravings, furniture and furnishings from the palace of Bergamo.
