The show

From 14 to 28 September Beyond Binaries will be on display in the spaces of AlbumArte , presenting the new artistic productions, born from the homonymous Beyond Binaries project. Residences for participatory and transfeminist art by Erinni.

Mara Oscar Cassiani, Collettivo Call Monica, Ginevra Petrozzi and Giulia Tomasello have worked in recent months on unpublished works, reworking the results of the experiences of the participatory residences carried out in the Torpignattara district from 20 to 30 June 2022 .

The Beyond Binaries project. Residences for participatory and transfeminist art stems from the desire to investigate issues related to identity and gender dynamics, in relation to the territory of Torpignattara, a metropolitan area of Rome where, historically, migratory trajectories and different communities have settled.

All the artists involved investigate, with different languages and practices, the various themes that emerged from the exchange with the people who live and cross the territory. Mara Oscar Cassiani gives a renewed look to his New Habitat project, which aspires to the construction of new cultural forms as opposed to gender stereotypes, making use of the gaming culture.
