Palazzo Carignano is a historic building of Piedmontese Baroque architecture located in the center of the city of Turin .

It is one of the most evocative and imposing palaces of the Italian seventeenth century, with a sinuous facade and plain brick cladding, preciously and originally worked; together with Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Madama it is part of the most important historical buildings of the city and, like these, it is part of the UNESCO Residenze Sabaude serial site. It was the historic seat of the Subalpine Parliament (1848-1861) and of the first Parliament of the Kingdom of Italy (1861-1864).

Palazzo Carignano currently houses on the ground floor the seventeenth-eighteenth-century apartments of Mezzanotte and Mezzogiorno (called the Apartment of the Princes), while on the main floor the National Museum of the Italian Risorgimento .

On the ground floor you can visit the Apartments of the Princes of Carignano reopened to the public in 2011 thanks to the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo. The Mezzogiorno Apartment with the marvelous golden boiseries is open permanently, while occasionally the public is offered a visit to the Mezzanotte Apartment and its halls, frescoed by Stefano Maria Legnani known as Legnanino , the talented painter who worked in the Palazzo between the end.
