Curated by: Hou Hanru con Donatella Saroli

The show

An impressive oil on canvas between Bollywood and the Roman suburbs, diaspora and cultural integration.

An imposing oil on canvas that reworks the style of Indian film industry posters but instead immortalizes the South Asian migrant community in their daily life in and around Rome.

It is the work of Navin Rawanchaikul, Ciao da Roma, a work that speaks of diaspora but also of integration and cultural challenges, through the many stories collected by the artist during his stay in Rome and Lazio in 2018. The work will enter to be part of the MAXXI Collection.
