An imposing oil on canvas between Bollywood and the Roman suburbs, diaspora and cultural integration. An imposing oil on canvas that reworks the style of the posters of the Indian film industry but which instead immortalizes the migrant community of South Asia in their daily lives in Rome and its surroundings.
It is the work of Navin Rawanchaikul, Ciao da Roma, a work that speaks of diaspora but also of integration and cultural challenges, through the many stories collected by the artist during his stay in Rome and Lazio in 2018. The work will enter to be part of the MAXXI Collection.
