The show

Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome hosts the first major exhibition dedicated to Jago from 12 March to 3 July 2022 . Jago , pseudonym of Jacopo Cardillo, born in Frosinone in 1987, a refined sculptor with Michelangelo's reminiscences, is known all over the world as "The Social Artist" for his innate communication skills and the great success he has on social media.

Jago combines a great creative talent with the use of the most contemporary means of communication. And like all great artists, he reaches the hearts of the public who love him, indeed adore him. She is a rock star, and she conveys the love of art to young people. The live streaming and the photo and video documentations tell the production process of each of his works, and, through this shared path, the sculptor makes everyone participate in the genesis of each of his works.

The modern genius of Jago is told for the first time in an exhibition in which all the works created to date are exhibited, from small carved river stones (from Memoria di Sé to Excalibur), up to the most recent monumental sculptures ( the Pietà), passing through the more mediatic works such as the Pope (Habemus Hominem). Curated by Professor Maria Teresa Benedetti, the exhibition will see 12 works by Jago on display, to connote the key elements of a work dedicated to establishing a relationship between our time and tradition.
