The show

Tracing through the work of sixteen artists of the current Italian panorama references and elective affinities with the great Etruscan figurative tradition. It is from this purpose that the exhibition "Correspondences. Tradition in the contemporary" was born, at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia from 26 October to 8 November 2019

The design idea of the Exhibition of Contemporary Figurative Art "Corrispondenze" stems from the consideration and the will that the Arts in Rome school carries out through the training, practice and learning of traditional artistic techniques which are the basis of the Academic Method and 'Art seen as communication and narration of the contemporary world.
The artistic-cultural event will bring together the works of some of the most interesting contemporary visual artists who represent the guidelines of the School, and the winner of the Arts in Rome Award created specifically to give living artists the opportunity to exhibit at a Museum . Free art workshops for children and families will also be offered.

Organization of Arts in Rome, the event is part of the Expressions of Interest organized by the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia and is part of the National Promotion and Enhancement 2019 project. Made with the contribution of the Culture and Art Foundation , an instrumental body of the TerzoPilastr o - International Foundation chaired by Prof. Avv. Emmanuele FM Emanuele and with the patronage of the Lazio Region

The exhibition will be open to visitors during the opening hours and in the cost of the museum ticket.
