Curated by: Saverio Verini
SmART Foundation - polo for art presents, on Monday 14 March from 3.00 pm, Spring is approaching, everyone is jumping., The third movement of Graziosi abissi, Roberto Fassone's solo show curated by Saverio Verini.
Graziosi abissi is an exhibition in continuous metamorphosis, divided into five movements. As in a choreography, each movement involves a change in the presentation of the works in line with some recurring aspects of Fassone's research: the idea of transformation, the interest in the dream dimension, the performative attitude, the imaginative potential of the observer.
The third movement foresees a new, unexpected set-up. After for forty days - in one of the coldest periods of the year - the works have found shelter under woolen blankets, at the gates of spring a strange joie de vivre takes possession of them.
Lightened by the weight of the blankets, the works will take place in an upward leap: a vital gesture, an exultation that will show them in a state of "levitation" for about a month and a half.On the occasion of the inauguration on 14 March, at 7.00 pm there will be a performance, or rather, a small adventure entitled Luis Buñuel talks about the 1st film he saw and the 1st film he made, Un Chien Andalou (1929).
