The show

Telling the identity of the eastern area of Naples through the eyes of photographers. This is the idea behind the East Side Stories project that the Made in Cloister Foundation generated in collaboration with the Est (ra) Moenia association and the curator Federica Cerami.

Through a call for proposals, many young photographers selected by ILAS, the School of Communication and Photography, were invited to discover the area east of the city of Naples, to walk its streets, to look closely at the many contradictions together with the excellences present in this quest. 'area, to observe its degradation and potential, constraints and opportunities.

The curator, Federica Cerami, has therefore selected 10 images from those presented that will make up an exhibition-competition that has the intention of revealing a part of the city and above all of turning on a light on a possible different way of dealing with the necessary mending of the area. east to the rest of the city.
