The show

The Quintessence is a project by the young Italian artist Pamela Breda (1982) who tells, through video, photography, archive material and site-specific installations, the spaces and laboratories aimed at studying the fundamental laws of the universe, from the microcosm of quantum physics to the macrocosm of the multiverse. “The Quintessence” is among the winners of the seventh edition of the Italian Council, promoted by the Ministry of Culture for the enhancement of Italian art.

The project was promoted by Kingston University of London in partnership with FMAV, which at the end will acquire the works produced in its collections, and boasts an important international network of partners, between Europe and the United States: Nottingham University, the UCL Department of Physics and Astronomy of London, the Pratt Institute of New York, the Max Planck Institut für Extraterrestrische Physik of Munich, the Boghossian Foundation-Villa Empain of Brussels, the Galerie La Box Ecole nationale supérieure d'art of Bourges and the MAMbo Museum of Bologna.
