Palazzo Te

Palazzo Te in Mantua is the most famous work of the Italian architect and mannerist artist Giulio Romano. It was built between 1525 and 1534 on commission of Federico II Gonzaga. The Palace was a grandiose suburban villa intended for the Prince's entertainment, parties and receptions.

Today Palazzo Te is the seat of the civic museum of the city of Mantua and a center of artistic production that organizes art and architecture exhibitions.
