Continuing the collaboration that has seen Centro Teatrale Bresciano and Fondazione Brescia Musei carry out important site-specific projects in the archaeological and museum area of Brescia - the recent show Didone Adonàis Domine, based on a text by Emilio Isgrò, directed by Giorgio Sangati, Calma Musa Immortale , directed by Fausto Cabra and with the dramaturgy of Marco Archetti and Rooms, a dance show created in collaboration with Aterballetto – the two cultural institutions of the city now present Three portraits. Site specific project for the Tosio Martinengo Art Gallery around Giacomo Ceruti.

From 31 January to 5 February, within the PTM ARTI+ format, the rooms of the Pinacoteca host the new production Centro Teatrale Bresciano, created in collaboration with the Brescia Musei Foundation, written by the resident playwright of the CTB Fabrizio Sinisi, directed by Claudio Autelli , with Leda Kreider, Marta Malvestiti, Roberta Ricciardi.

Inspired by the work of Ceruti, designed for the museum spaces, the show gives voice to some female characters, subjects of Ceruti's paintings: School of girls (1720-1725) Mother with Child (c. 1730) and Encounter in the woods (1730- c. 1735).

Three women's stories set between a recent past and a near future, which will be staged twice at 6.30pm and 8.30pm on 31 January, 1, 2 and 3 February; on 4 and 5 February, however, there will be three performances a day, at 17.00, 19.00 and 21.00.

A new appointment in the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo to accompany the public towards the great exhibition dedicated to Giacomo Ceruti (1698-1767), Miseria&Nobiltà. Giacomo Ceruti in eighteenth-century Europe: flagship project for Capital of Culture 2023, hosted at the Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia from 14 February to 28 May 2023.
